Muslim Food Bank and Community Services Society (“MFBCS”) is a non-profit, charitable organization. The organization was incorporated under the Society Act at Victoria, British Columbia on July 6, 2010. The Charitable Business Number is 80072 0864 RR0001.
The Society is run by an elected, volunteer Board of Directors. The Board oversees the Executive Director, Management Committees, staff and volunteers who manage the day-to-day operations of the programs.
MFBCS is able to run its programs through donations of money and food. These donations come from individuals, small businesses and organizations as well as various fundraising efforts, such as our annual fundraising event or third party events run by other organizations.
Our goal is to support our clients become self-sufficient, dignified members of Canadian society by assisting with immediate needs for food through our Food Bank Operations and providing a holistic range of support services through our ASPIRE Community Services and Youth Support programs.
